Happy Wednesday!

So we had to purchase a new hard drive and motherboard but the computer is back up and running finally! & a bit quicker I might add!

Since the move in April and school starting this Fall I feel absolutely inundated with things of all sorts! I had a lovely lazy summer which I am now looking back in hindsight wishing I would of done more, but regardless it was very relaxing!

I have decided to close up shop for awhile! I am in need of rearranging and brainstorming new ideas and becoming better organized! I'm not sure how long it will take since I am in school, I would say at the earliest this Fall /Winter.

I made the little announcement today via Etsy!

btw I am excited to start my silkscreen class. I have silk screened before but it was a very diy clumsy version so this should be fun and useful for future art/projects!

I wish I became cupcake obsessed before it was back to school time! Oh well, I'll have to make time to learn to bake! I just bought this book used from Amazon and am really excited to get it!

In other news my friend gave me an old kitchen table of hers since she bought all new furniture. Here is a before shot!


I have already sanded most of it (thanks to my mom for helping!) and need to go over it in a lower grade sand paper. But I'm hoping to stain it this weekend! I'm going to stain it black, I think it will go nicely with our blk & wht checkered floor and our blk & wht floral curtains! I'll post an after picture asap!

Total Bummer!

So my emachine crapped out on me! I'll never buy another! It was only 3 years old.

Anyone have any recommendations for a laptop, or desktop pc they love? I'd like a notebook for travel purposes and also a Mac but the budget unfortunately cannot afford a Mac right now!

Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Happy Monday!

Hello hello!

Hope everyone is well. I am so behind in crafting, cleaning and I finally got around to updating my shop sections and switching out my etsy banner to a new color scheme.

I need to get on the ball. Hope every ones summer is going well.

It is still very gloomy here in Southern California. Arizona on the other hand was very warm! A nice change of pace!

So we're gathering up all our art in the apartment and deciding what goes where and I need to find some prints / posters for this frame (from Ikea)

We want something black and white. We were thinking maybe WW2 photography of a couple would be sweet. And I love these Marilyn ones...



The frame is larger and round so its a bit hard to find the right size! I think the poster needs to be around 16x20 and will then be cut to size....I'll have to make a mock up on plain paper to be sure I buy the right size print first.
If you know or make any large size prints, please comment as I'd love to see them!
